Expanding The Team: Meet Bonnie

Bonnie is a 3rd year undergraduate student based at the Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies in Hobart. As part of her degree, she’s undertaking a Major Research Practice which is great preparation the huge undertaking of an Honours project. She made contact with Dr. Jennifer Lavers, to see if Adrift Lab had any projects in need of extra hands, and we were happy to have her on board.

Since collaborating with Dr. Lavers and Dr. Bond as a member of the Adrift Lab team, she has started looking at the effects of plastic pollution on Pacific Gulls. She hopes to continue this line of research after graduating, and we certainly hope she does.
