Jesse is a long-term supporter of Adrift Lab, having volunteered time to design the lab’s visual identity, develop the lab’s website, and assist with various tasks since 2018. They are beloved by each and every member of the team, for their kindness-centered approach, endless generosity and ability to design effective solutions for every issue and idea we can imagine.
Recent successes include designing and launching Adrift Lab’s beached-bird web portal. This has streamlined the process for citizen scientists to upload photos and data from their region, and has ensured our team can audit data and respond to bird-related events in a highly efficient manner. Our upcoming research article on beach-washed seabirds would not have been realised without Jesse’s ingenuity – thank you!
Jesse has also designed and (will soon) launch our new Adrift Lab newsletter, which will focus on celebrating team successes, highlighting upcoming opportunities to collaborate, and thanking those who make what we do possible.
