Megan Grant has been awarded a research grant by Birdlife Northern New South Wales to cover travel and sample analysis costs for her PhD field work on Lord Howe Island in 2020 and 2021.

I’m so happy that Birdlife Northern New South Wales have acknowledged the importance of our research.

Adrift Lab’s continuing research on Lord Howe Island covers the impacts of anthropogenic waste on the health of wildlife and the marine environment, and how seabirds can be used as indicators of the extent and impacts of plastic pollution in marine environments.
