Peter Puskic Writes For Australian Wildlife Magazine

Adrift Lab’s Peter Puskic has been published in the Summer 2019 edition of Australian Wildlife Magazine by the Australian Wildlife Society. Peter’s article, titled ‘Alone at sea, when the world comes to visit’ details his experiences on Lord Howe Island, and his first-hand account of the impacts of plastic ingestion on flesh-footed shearwaters.

The first morning on the island was one of the hardest. We woke at dawn to walk stretches of the picturesque
beaches across the island collecting dead and dying chicks, washed up in the waves
— Peter Puskic

The Summer 2019 edition of the magazine also features pieces on the endangered bridled nailtail wallaby, feral horses in Kosciuszko National Park, the identification of quolls, and more!
